Finally...Saturday as it should be!

We made it out in field service by a hair but we made it out and that in itself is a little victory. Weekends use to be a solid routine when all we had to worry about is ourselves.  Now that we are responsible for little lives everything is challenge, including theocratic responsibilities that should have been almost second nature. It's been six years and this year was the year I'm hoping to break out of the rut and get back to being more spiritually progressive.  But progress in my world means one little step at a time. So today, it's getting out in service...and hopefully, it will be every Saturday.

After a short time in the territory, we went to see the cousins and then spent some time with the friends celebrating a couples wedding anniversary. We desperately crave for association with our friends in the congregation and today was a definitely a treat.

Then to top it of, we made an unplanned stop at a farm park not so far away from the friends house.  It was fun and different but we were too late to enjoy a closer view of the farm animals.  The light was perfect though so you know I was shooting away...

It finally felt like the way our Saturdays should be.  Hopefully, it will just get better from here on out.
