Let it snow!

A rainless winter is making us dream bigger...so this afternoon, while the sun is beaming beautifully outside, our living room was filled with snowflakes....handmade and beautiful!

Our weekly routine calls for some craft time so I figured making snowflakes will be a hit with the girls...they loved it...especially with Mer! The folds were a bit difficult to cut with safety scissors but the girls persisted and end up with very unique shapes.  I joined in the fun and created the more unusually shaped ones.  I love the designs that came out and how easy to create them.  

 We hung them with strings on a curtain rod and place them in the window that gives us the best light during the day.  For that, we'll have to wait until morning.  The girls labored through afternoon and we did not get to complete our project until early evening. So, tomorrow we will be greeted by a snow filled window....awesome!
