Rain...we miss you!

It's been a very dry and very warm winter...well, at least most parts of the day anyway....mornings are still quite frosty.  But despite the warm, beautiful days, I have to admit that we truly miss the rain.  The air shows the lack of it and the hills surrounding our neighborhood shows visible proof that we really need it. 

The girls are loving the pretty days though...lots more time to be outdoors in the parks and in our garden out back and of course, enjoy a frozen treat at the neighborhood store.

As wonderful as that may be, we are definitely looking forward to rainy days so our ground and our gardens can be replenished and enriched...ready for the fruitfulness of the coming summer harvests.  That of course, is as beautiful or perhaps more beautiful than these sunny days....so common rain, please come soon!
