Anywhere But There

For the first time ever, we went to a District Convention (now Regional Convention) that we are not assigned to.  So while the rest of the congregation is traveling South to Long Beach, we went South too but stopped just a few hundred miles short and spent the day in the beach instead.  It's a beautiful day of course but my mind is still wishing we joined the caravans to the convention.  Unfortunately, the expense of going there this year is out of reach for us so although we are technically on vacation, we are spending it close to home where it's more affordable.

 

 

I'm sure there will be lots of memories missed this summer but plenty will be made as well.
