Homeschool PE

It's library and park day!!!  Today was an especially exciting treat since we found this little cutie in the library....

 

His name is Bentley and he was very patient and attentive and apparently, very interested in horses since he quietly listened to Mer's reading with the same eagerness as a preschooler at story time. He's a welcome treat and a homeschooler's delight since we can get first dibs on him when he comes around every third Tuesday of the month.

 

But of course if it's Tuesday, that also means it's park day or as we homeschoolers usually call it, PE time!  Today's park of choice:  Hollows Park.

 

 

It's also valuable interaction time with other kids of their age which is often a challenge because of the homeschool environment so I make sure the girls get plenty of opportunities to get those.  Of course, the advantage is that they do mingle with all age groups often and that has proven to be a great asset for them since they able to make and have friends in all age groups.
