Starting Out

Our lovely weekend was spent getting acquainted with the newest member of my side of the family, a beautiful little lady born to my cousin, Liliana Rose.

She is the firstborn to her young mom and the first grand daughter to her grandparents. Both still finding their footing in their new roles and still a bit wobbly as all first timers would be.  Watching them brought back memories of our own insecurities when our long awaited first born became a reality that we soon after felt very unprepared for. And here we are two little ones and almost six years later, still feeling out of our element sometimes but still in bliss with the love and warmth that they bring.

Each new life brings that warm feeling....love becomes a real, visible reminder...a powerful force between us and them and thus between us and the one that makes that life possible.

Growth brought more blessings for us this weekend as we also had the privilege of being a part of new group and soon to be congregation in Fremont.  Now we even have plenty 'more to do in the work of the Lord.'

So here's to the new....each one blessed with our own seedlings, anticipating their growth, celebrating every milestone while laboring in every step of the way.
