To Fly a Kite

Creativity takes on many forms.  For a child, the cliche' that the possibilities are endless is an understatement. Skill on the other hand takes time, practice and patience. Even the seemingly simple tasks become mountains when observed by little eyes. Yet despite that they eagerly take the first step forward...unsteady but determined, fragile yet undeterred.

What was once paper transforms into a learning experience with the wind as its teacher.  Being so, there is much to learn from this wise educator and the lesson this time around is patience.

The pretty pink kite stayed close to the earth today.  Tomorrow....well, in her eyes it already there...flying and being one with the wind.
